Dexton's 4th Birthday

Happy Birthday to the cutest little four year old!  This year it was so fun to be able to spend some time with Dexton on his big day.  He also has a cousin Rossi that shares his birthday.  She turned 2 and we decided we would have a double birthday celebration. Grandma and Grandpa Glover came over and Deanna and her kids.  We took them to the Aquatic Center here in Cedar City, then came back to the house and had dinner, then cake and ice cream and opened presents.  We also let the kids do a Pinata (spell?) I think Dexton was exhausted when it was all said and done.  He spent the first part of the day doing parties at his mom's then came with us.  He has either got to feel very loved or very overwhelmed.  Probably a little of both :) I want all the kids to read our blog someday and be able to know the fun times we had as they were growing up.  I feel the same with Dexton.  Although he isn't at our house all of the time, we always want him to remember that he is part of this family.  We love every second he is with us.  I know that there is a lot that I probably don't know about him, but I will write about Dex as I know him and the things that I get to experience with him.  I am sure his mom has countless stories about him and hopefully she is keeping record of them.  I just feel lucky to be part of his life in some way.  I love that I get to be his "Casey Mom" That is a pretty special title he gave me and he is a special boy!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE BUDDY!!! We love you

At the Aquatic Center

With the cousins.  They were all freezing and wanted to get back in the water!  No luck getting a shot with them all looking at the camera

Jamesy got put in time-out and he was a little sad

they were "too cool" to swim or something so they stayed out in the lounge and read a book.  Who does that?! oh ya.... teenagers do :)
Presents, cake and ice cream time!

The kids always love to sit on Grandpa Glover's lap

Pinata Time! Dexton loved smashing that "transformer dude" as he called it. And he loooooves candy so he was excited

his favorite coach.  I love that Jerry is willing to coach the kids and help them with their sports.  The kids love him, the parents love him, and well... I do too of course!

his favorite assistant coach. Kenna was an awesome assistant.  She loves b-ball so much and i think she liked being able to tell Parker what to do and there was nothing he could do about it!  Gotta listen to your coaches

Grandpa Cutler gave him this hat a couple weeks ago and every time we leave he goes and puts on his hat and says "lets go!" He likes to call grandpa and tell him about it too.  This boy loves his grandpa's!

On our way to the basketball game at Dixie

My bro was one of the ref's for our Cedar game.  He makes me proud.  He not only looks good, he IS good! I love watching him and he just keeps getting better and moving up. This year is his first year doing some college games.  NBA watch out!
Where's Waldo... I mean Kenna. Can you find her in the sea of Cedar fans?! I love that she is a part of all of this.

Awkward picture of me, but as we were walking out of the game James put this popcorn bucket on his head and wore it the whole way home.  Guess he has a thing w/ hats lately! Oh.... and had to show my school spirit wearing my jersey.  We lost in overtime. Better luck next year boys!

Dedicated to you

So just because it is the end of February and one of my New Years Resolutions was to blog this year, that doesn't mean anything right?!? I am still trying to get caught up from at least the beginning of the year so my pics are all out of order.  My sister told me I was going to regret not doing this sooner and as I am trying to document certain things I feel like I need to admit... She was right! As much as I hate it when she is right, she is.  I already have missed so much, and I mostly just want this to be something my kids and Jerry and I can look back on, and remember these sweet moments we have every day with our kids.  They really do grow up in the blink of an eye and I don't want to forget a second of it.  So I am dedicating this blog to Mckenna, Parker, Chloe, Dexton, and James.... A little Glimpse of your life, because you mean everything to mine!

James new obsession is his boots. He would wear them to bed if he could

His other obsession is oatmeal and Gabba Gabba.  Every morning this is where you will find him

His favorite person in the world is "Wo-wee" I found them both like this the other night in my bed.  So sweet
You can't see it very well in the pic, but this kid has bruises everywhere on his head.  He has had more goose eggs and black eyes then any child so far.  He must get his clumsiness from his mom.  Sorry James!  I am thinking a helmet would be good at this point
His "smile for the camera" grin
Lately this is where I find these 3 (sometimes I join if they will wait for me!) Kenna got us addicted to Prison Break.  I think we made it to season 3 so far
Notice his shirt all wet? Jerry said he did the same thing when he was a kid he loved to suck on his shirt.  Makes you wonder if that stuff really is hereditary?!
You can find James and Dex wherever Chloe is pretty much
So Jerry's Birthday is on Valentines so we get to do a little extra celebrating every year, this year was pretty low-key, but it's all about the L-O-V-E that's all that matters
I made Jerry Pecan Pie this year for his B-day dessert.  We didn't do much because he had to ref, and it was Kenna's last home game, but we did go out to eat with his mom and dad and then Chase and his "valentine" came over and we played some ping pong.  Happy Birthday! Big 29 this year.  I will be so glad when he is in the 30's with me!

He wants to be just like his dad.  He even has his own mug he wants to refill it is the cutest thing!

Could they be any cuter
Waiting at the airport

This is my dad.  He makes me giggle more then anyone I know.  I think he hates elevators.  I was cackling the whole way down!

My cousin Hayden came home from his mission in Peru.  Uncle Andy got to go over and spend a week with him and tour around. This is them coming off the plane in St George.

Welcome Home Hayden!

Chloe Turns 8

My little Chloe turned 8 years old this month!  She had a party at Fun-Time Inflatables with lots of family and friends. All of her cousins from out of town came to see her and share her special weekend.  Gracie, Anna, Kinsey, and even her best friend Ava got to come over.  I didn't get pictures of everyone because my battery on my camera died, but her dad took some on his camera and we will have to get some copies. It was a fun night for her! I think if you asked her what the highlight of her birthday was she would tell you about her new friend "Jack".  Jack is the hamster that Grandpa Cutler surprised  her (and me) with!  It was the hit of the party.  Grandpa always loves surprises.  Maybe we should surprise him with something like that on his birthday this year... Chloe also got baptized the day after her birthday. It was a special weekend for her and she had so many people that came to support her.  I am so proud of her for making that decision and I am so lucky to be her mom.  She keeps us laughing every day, and there is no one like her! I love you Chloe
