Dexton's 4th Birthday

Happy Birthday to the cutest little four year old!  This year it was so fun to be able to spend some time with Dexton on his big day.  He also has a cousin Rossi that shares his birthday.  She turned 2 and we decided we would have a double birthday celebration. Grandma and Grandpa Glover came over and Deanna and her kids.  We took them to the Aquatic Center here in Cedar City, then came back to the house and had dinner, then cake and ice cream and opened presents.  We also let the kids do a Pinata (spell?) I think Dexton was exhausted when it was all said and done.  He spent the first part of the day doing parties at his mom's then came with us.  He has either got to feel very loved or very overwhelmed.  Probably a little of both :) I want all the kids to read our blog someday and be able to know the fun times we had as they were growing up.  I feel the same with Dexton.  Although he isn't at our house all of the time, we always want him to remember that he is part of this family.  We love every second he is with us.  I know that there is a lot that I probably don't know about him, but I will write about Dex as I know him and the things that I get to experience with him.  I am sure his mom has countless stories about him and hopefully she is keeping record of them.  I just feel lucky to be part of his life in some way.  I love that I get to be his "Casey Mom" That is a pretty special title he gave me and he is a special boy!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE BUDDY!!! We love you

At the Aquatic Center

With the cousins.  They were all freezing and wanted to get back in the water!  No luck getting a shot with them all looking at the camera

Jamesy got put in time-out and he was a little sad

they were "too cool" to swim or something so they stayed out in the lounge and read a book.  Who does that?! oh ya.... teenagers do :)
Presents, cake and ice cream time!

The kids always love to sit on Grandpa Glover's lap

Pinata Time! Dexton loved smashing that "transformer dude" as he called it. And he loooooves candy so he was excited

his favorite coach.  I love that Jerry is willing to coach the kids and help them with their sports.  The kids love him, the parents love him, and well... I do too of course!

his favorite assistant coach. Kenna was an awesome assistant.  She loves b-ball so much and i think she liked being able to tell Parker what to do and there was nothing he could do about it!  Gotta listen to your coaches

Grandpa Cutler gave him this hat a couple weeks ago and every time we leave he goes and puts on his hat and says "lets go!" He likes to call grandpa and tell him about it too.  This boy loves his grandpa's!

On our way to the basketball game at Dixie

My bro was one of the ref's for our Cedar game.  He makes me proud.  He not only looks good, he IS good! I love watching him and he just keeps getting better and moving up. This year is his first year doing some college games.  NBA watch out!
Where's Waldo... I mean Kenna. Can you find her in the sea of Cedar fans?! I love that she is a part of all of this.

Awkward picture of me, but as we were walking out of the game James put this popcorn bucket on his head and wore it the whole way home.  Guess he has a thing w/ hats lately! Oh.... and had to show my school spirit wearing my jersey.  We lost in overtime. Better luck next year boys!

Silly boy
